Summer Exchange in Sweden

We are pleased to announce that the JU Summer School is being offered for the summer of 2025!

This year we will be offering 3 courses for students to choose between:

The courses are taught from 2 June - 27 June at the School of Engineering, and each course includes study visits to Swedish companies such as IKEA and Husqvarna.

There is also an optional (but highly recommended) social and cultural package which students can purchase, which provides a chance to experience the Swedish culture, traditions, explore areas outside of the city and get involved in after-school activities.

We can also provide JU student accommodation at an additional cost.

How to apply?
The application for the Summer School is open from 1 December 2024, the last day to apply is 1 April 2025.

  • Your students are welcome to apply HERE as individual applicants*

*Please note that the summer school is outside of the regular semester exchange agreement. Students who are European Union (EU) citizens are not required to pay application or tuition fees. Individuals who are citizens of countries outside of the EU, European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to pay the application and tuition fees.

Read more about application and tuition fees. Further information regarding any other costs can be found in the attached information sheet.

Please note there is a limited number of places available for each course, so students will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You can find the pre-requisites for the courses as well as more information here

We will be hosting a webinar for students who would like to find out more. We would be grateful if you could distribute this information! For details on the time/date and how to join, click here!

We hope to welcome your students to Sweden for a wonderful summer experience in the North. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions at incoming.student@ju.se
