Tomorrow, the Studio welcomes scholars from across Canada and around the world to Saint Mary's University. We are hosting a one-day pre-conference for STLHE 2017, the annual conference of The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. This year's theme is Gateways in Higher Education: Cultures, Transitions, Transformations.
Join us to celebrate, discover, and explore teaching and learning in the unique context of Halifax — a place that combines real and imagined gateways with a 200-year history of providing opportunities for higher education. Understanding where we’ve come from, and where we are now, is key to understanding where we’re going, and how we can develop and change over the next century to meet the needs of our changing student demographics.
STLHE 2017 is being hosted by a group of higher learning institutions in Halifax, Nova Scotia, June 20-23.
