Registration for the Lake Constance Summer School 2025 is now open. Students who are interested in attending the Summer School, can register here.

The Lake Constance Summer School is an offer of the Lake Constance Arts & Sciences Association and includes a German language course and an afternoon program with cultural excursions, company presentations and sport activities.

Key Facts:

• The program will begin online from July 28 to August 1, followed by in-person sessions from August 4 to August 22.

• The German course is offered at levels A1 to B2.2, consists of 76 teaching units, and is worth 6 ECTS credits.

• The fees cover all activities, such as sightseeing tours, BBQs, museum visits, etc.

• Accommodation is not included, but can be booked separately at approximately €65 per night in a double room.

Please note: For this program, students pay tuition at the partner school directly (unlike typical exchange programs from SMU). Interested students should start the application process with Global Learning before they can apply to the host university. Credits may be earned to the extent that fulfills the student’s degree program requirements.
